基因工程载体:
在基因工程重组DNA技术中将DNA片段（目的基因）转移至受体细胞的一种能自我复制的DNA分子.三种常用的载体是质粒、λ噬菌体的衍生物和动植物病毒,最常用的是质粒.
用途：
在基因操作过程中使用运载体有两个用途：一是用它作为运载工具,将目的基因转移到宿主细胞中去；二是利用它在宿主细胞内对目的基因进行大量的复制.
基因工程中载体需要满足的条件：
1有一个或多个限制酶的切点,便于目的基因插入
2有自我复制能力或整合到受体染色体DNA上随染色体DNA复制的能力
3必须带有标记基因,以便筛选
4对受体细胞无害
5大小合适,便于操作
天然质粒并不完全具备上述条件,所以都要进行人工改造.

of gene delivery developed for a various types of cells and tissues,
from bacterial to mammalian. Generally, the methods can be divided into
two categories, viral and non-viral.[1]
Virusmediated gene delivery utilizes the ability of a virus to inject its DNA
inside a host cell. A gene that is intended for delivery is packaged
into a replication-deficient viral particle. Viruses used to date
include retrovirus, adenovirus, adeno-associated virus and herpes
simplex virus.
Non-viral methods include physical methods such asmicroinjection,gene gun,impalefection,hydrostatic pressure,electroporation, continuous infusion, and sonication and chemical, such aslipofection. It can also include the use of polymeric gene carriers (polyplexes).[2]
