Hi All: What we needs is a way to create additional demand on a material, over and above the amount on the forecast. This demand can not be a PIR because PIR's get cleared out each month. It can not be a CIR because CIR's consume forecast. Are there any other ways to achieve this? Any help is very much appreciated. Best Regards, Kumar

Hi Astoria:Thanks for your reply.The requirement we have is the "Special demand" must not be consumed by customer orders i.e.,we will be creating this special demand for specific customer and we do not want any other customer orders consuming this demand.When our customer order does get materialized then,our planners will use MD62 to remove this "Special Demand" and make it to zero.If we use VSF then we run into the risk of system consuming these PIRs even though we use different version and have a way of not deleting these PIRs.Is there a way to control this behaviour i.e.,if I maintain PIRs under different version,can I make sure that these will not be consumed by the customer orders Thanks in advance for your help.Best Regards,查看原帖>>
