L: no, though i hope i had. You have finished it?
W: yeah,just now. But i don’t regard it a good matter for us human to possess advanced technology.
L: How could you think that way? Now, you see, technology brings us great convenience and efficience. Without advanced technology, we might have to live the way our ancestor did many many years ago.
W: i agree with you to a degree, but not all. It is true that advanced technology frees us from masses of heavy labors, but meanwhile it makes us lazier than ever before.
L: Yeah, I’m on your point in this fact. For example, whenever i have a relatively bigger question i would prefer to google it on the internet rather than to solve it myself, though it might is within my power.
W: so in my report i claimed that we shall use the technology wisely, that is, we shall not use technology all the time. Instead, we shall think twice before we adopt a way to solve problems.
L:you are right. Technology is only the product of our mind. We shall not permit the product to block the growth of my mind. May i should change my bad habits now.
W: me too. But we can’t quit the whole forest just for one tree. We also need to develope the technology to make our society much better.
