而reflect on意思是 仔细考虑
整个句子意思应该是 因为很多学生为了学好口语宁愿少做拼写练习,跟不用说其后仔细考虑他们学到了些什么.
其实我觉得reflect on 那里应该是 reflecting on..这样句子主干就是 students give priorities to...at cost of doing...let alone reflecting...
这样doing exercise和reflecting on就是并列的..
而现在句子没有ing的话,reflect 和give 就是并列的谓语.
let alone 是短语，表示更不用说的意思，本句话应该是祈使句，所以reflect on 是祈使句的谓语部分。

reflect是动词，本人认为应该是reflection（on是reflict固定搭配，what引导的是on介词后的宾语从句），做let这个使役动词后的宾语，本应该为let sth alone，只不过这里sth大于一个单词是放在短语后面使用。
